Multilingual AI
Smartbnb's AI can currently detect questions only in English. This feature would expand the AI capabilities to other languages. Voting for this idea? Note your preferred language in your feedback. ;)
Schedule one-off messages in advance ("Send later")
Please make an option to schedule a one-off message to a specific guest. On the guest message thread, it would be helpful to type a message to a guest, and then, instead of sending the message right away, be able to schedule it for a future time. Many email providers and some cell phones offer this ability. It would assist with working through messages at odd hours when you may not want to send a message.
Ability to have a teammate indicate they cannot preform a task and have it reassigned
If a cleaner for example cannot preform a task, it would be great if they could indicate that and the task could be reassigned, triggering new notification rules to the new task owner.
Create inbox or other solution, so communication with operations team can be seen in one place
For example replies to SMS messages can be seen in a single place.
Automatic translation
Hi - we recently had a guest book our property from France. But because he was messaging in French and us in English, we kept having to switch back to the Airbnb app to message them. And as a result, we were delayed in responding to a message about an alteration request. The guest then cancelled the reservation. That's an extreme example, but it would be nice to not have to switch back to airbnb app to message guests in another language.
Consolidate User management and Operations Teammates together
Currently, Hospitable has two areas to involve teams (for example cleaning people). One is "Teammates" under Operations, which is focused on sending email and SMS notifications. User management was also released to allow invited people to access your Hospitable account (and have access to the Calendar, and other areas of the product. This item would be supporting the consolidation of User management and Operations teammates together, to improve the ease to include your teams to Hospitable, to both receive notifications and get access to your Hospitable account together.
(Direct) Show breakdown of fees of new calculated amount after an alteration
When a user creates an alteration to the dates, we show them the new total but it doesn't show the breakdown to include other fees. This is useful so they know if a cleaning fee was still applied, or reduced.
Inventory management
We’d love to see an inventory management feature added to Hospitable to help streamline operations across our properties. Here’s what we’d find most useful: 1. Barcode scanning via mobile to track and perform stocktakes of items like furnishings, consumables, cleaning supplies, linen, and products for sale. 2. Ability to assign item locations (e.g., under-stair cupboard, cleaning caddy, bedroom drawer) to help teams locate things quickly. 3. Support for multiple inventory categories – furnishings, consumables, linen, cleaning products, and items available for guests to purchase. 4. Ability to set minimum stock levels and receive alerts or tasks when restocking is required. 5. Mobile-first design so cleaners or property managers can update inventory on the go during turnovers. 6. Optional reporting or export feature to track consumption, loss, or movement between properties.
AI-enabled Smart Codes
Allow hosts to use smart codes in Guest experience whose values are populated via AI
Set Cancellation Policy for Specific Dates
Airbnb will soon let you change your cancellation policy for specific dates. This is incredibly useful for compression events such as World Cup. Vrbo already has this feature. My hope is to have this available soon.

File and Remit Taxes for Direct Premium
Wherever possible, start filing and remitting taxes for Direct Premium hosts so they don't have to. Hospitable is already calculating taxes with the applicable amount for each transaction, and including this to the payment of the guest and the payout of the host. This (mostly operational) feature would allow Hospitable, both legally and technically, to file and remit taxes as a marketplace / payment facilitator on behalf of the tax subjects, to applicable jurisdiction. Our first destination for filing and remitting taxes is Tennessee, home to several major short-term rental markets in the United States, with a legal framework that makes it easy to file and remit taxes as a marketplace.
Ability to update all listing content from Hospitable
Update listing details on the booking channels when they're updated in Hospitable so that changes don't have to be repeated for every channel.
Brands
Brands includes not only the look and feel of your business, but the ability to purchase or connect domains that are used for owner-facing and guest-facing products and communication: Guest and owner-facing emails come from your own email Guest portals live on your own domain Owner portals live on your own domain As a part of this project, we’re also considering a differentiation between your Company’s Brand (for owner-facing products and communication) and individual Property Brands (for guest-facing products and communication).
Length of stay discounts, set in Hospitable and pushed to all platforms
Ability to push discount for set number of nights booked (for example if there are settings made on Airbnb, pushed across platforms)
Split payouts
Allow hosts to split payouts between the manager and owner on revenue processed by Hospitable (Direct Premium and Vrbo Partner Connection).
Additional widget requests for the new Metrics dashboards
Hi, hosts! If you are a Professional or Mogul customer and you’ve had a chance to try out the new widget library — what’s missing? Add a comment with any metrics you need us to add and we’ll see what we can do!
Improved Logic for Smart Lock "Code Not Sent"
A Smart Lock Code Not Sent message recently triggered twice for two different edge cases. Would love to see the logic updated to accommodate. Relevant user feedback on the completed feature, too: https://feedback.hospitable.com/p/backup-codes-hospitable-code-communication. Some ideas on how to do it: 1) If users edit a message already populated by %smartlock_code%, or send it early, that should not break the flag that the code was sent. Depending how it’s implemented, perhaps a new message status "SentEarly" instead of “Cancelled,” or a simple recalc and regex check. Recent example: I customized a message, but didn’t touch the %smartlock_code%-generated code, the message was treated as manual, and the Code Not Sent message triggered. 2) If a message with %smartlock_code% is in the queue, send that instead of the generic Code Not Sent message. Recent example: Check-in time 3pm. Guest booked same-day at 8pm and the “new reservation” message triggered. Code Not Sent message was sent 8:16p (10 minute delay), then the queued message scheduled for “3 days before check-in” triggered at 8:29pm (22 minute delay). Could be fixed other ways e.g. shorter delay on overdue messages, or message logic allowing “new reservation made after check-in.”
Change ownership of a property
Sometimes owners sell their properties, and the new owner continues using the same property manager. In those cases, a property manager needs to change the owner of a property, while keeping the old owner’s statements/portal/etc in tact.
Settings for Automatic Smartlock Messages
Allow users to cancel or customize automatic smart lock code messages. We have TWO front doors. The exterior door does not have a smart lock and uses a different code than the interior door. When you automatically send codes out without proper explanation, it causes confusion resulting in guests using the code on the wrong door repeatedly which causes eventually disables our lock and requires someone to drive out and unlock it (a huge inconvenience for everyone).
Add categories when listing transactions
I would like to recommend adding new categories for transactions e.g. WIFI
Update the Text to larger/Bolder
It’s impossible to read the text throughout the platform! Please make it BOLDER - light grey is so ‘light’ or at least allow us to be able to change the font/size
Limited release

Guest experience: Send Text/SMS to guests
Some users may want the ability to toggle SMS delivery method for manual/automated messages to guests
Custom code for smartlock failure
A custom code condition to trigger when a code fails to provision on a lock.
Thermostat expanded settings
It would be good to be able to add more than one account of the same kind, and also create different start times for AC’s with check in time. Some of us manage multiple properties other people own. With ecobee those thermostats can be shared with us to maintain, but your system does not import them for some reason, although other automation services do. So it would be good to have multiple Ecobee connected accounts with their credentials so we still have that control. For now I have to keep the other system going which isn’t desirable. I have one home with 4 AC’s. It’s not great to run 4 AC’s at the same time in the winter after prolonged non use where they might all go to Aux heat. That can be enough to trip an entire 200 amp house breaker. I typically deal with this by staggering the start time from 4 to 1 hours before check in allowing AC’s to get back to Heat Pump mode if they started up after a long unoccupied setting. These are all things the leading competitor in this space can do so may be worth referencing them.
Rental agreement notifications based on check-in date (for guest & manager)
The recent update to rental agreement notifications is great, but it’s missing a crucial setting: The ability to notify a guest who hasn’t signed, and who’s booking is getting close. Adding this condition to the Task Reminders area seems like it should be reasonably straighforward, and in my opinion is critical to include. Additionally… as a host, unless I’m manually checking multiple times a week, I’m TOTALLY in the dark as to whether someone has signed an agreement or not. If a reservation is approaching and they haven’t completed their tasks, I need to know so I can make sure they’re 100% set up for their stay.
Webhooks Triggered By Message
I would love to be able to allow guests to control lighting, temperature, etc. Through messages rather than having them use a tablet that is in the unit. To do this, I'd have to define some messages like tub heat and then have a web hook connection. Put most generically I would like to be able to trigger a webhook based on a particular message sent by a guest.
Multilingual support dropping ?
Feature Request: Bring Back Full Multilingual Support – It’s a Core Need, Not an Extra! Imagine you’re a guest booking an apartment. The listing is perfectly written in your language, carefully considering every cultural nuance. You feel comfortable, informed, and excited about your stay. The property manager, knowing that many guests speak your language, has prepared all communication in a way that makes you certain you will feel right at home. You receive a warm, well-structured booking confirmation, arrival details, and useful tips—everything in your language. But then, out of nowhere, an automated system message arrives: ”§¶™•¢¶™¡!!” (You have no idea what it says). You receive another: ”$%@#%#&@” (Still gibberish to you). Suddenly, your reservation is canceled. Why? Because somewhere along the way, a crucial step—perhaps signing a rental agreement—was only available in a language you didn’t understand. What could have prevented this? Full multilingual support from start to finish. The Bigger Issue Hospitable was originally built with multilingual support in mind. Hosts could define guest messages in multiple languages because not all guests speak English, nor do all guests have the technological skills to work around language barriers. This made sense. This was thoughtful. But now, it seems like a shift is happening. Newly built features are launching without multilingual support. Why? Did the world suddenly change? Did people everywhere suddenly become fluent in English? I have to explain this to your support staff. I am completely baffled by this. If Hospitable still considers multilingual support a core feature, then every new feature should be wired with it from the beginning. It shouldn’t have to be specifically requested for each individual feature—it should be an assumed necessity. Otherwise, the platform is moving toward becoming an English-only guest support system, which is a drastic step backward. A Clear Request So here’s the question: • Is Hospitable still committed to supporting multiple languages across all guest interactions? • If so, shouldn’t every feature—rental agreements, guest portals, signing reminders, automated messages, and beyond—be multilingual from day one? • If not, shouldn’t this be clearly communicated, so hosts, pros and mogul know what to expect / not to expect ? Multilingual support isn’t just a nice-to-have. It’s essential for a truly global short-term rental platform. If a guest can receive welcome messages in their language, they should also be able to understand every critical step of their reservation. One More Thought If the plan is to replace everything with AI, remember that cultural differences dictate different focuses and questions a guest might have. Multilinguality isn’t just about translating an English text word-for-word—it often requires adjusting the content to fit cultural backgrounds, specific needs, or technical requirements an AI might not know about. So a one-size-fits-all AI translation might not be enough. If you agree, upvote this request so Hospitable can prioritize keeping the platform truly hospitable—for all languages, not just English.

Owner Statements
Through a partnership with VRPlatform, property managers will be able to sync with their accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero or Sage), enable compliant trust accounting, generate owner statements, and pay their clients.
Add reservations from direct website or other channels
This feature would allow users to enter reservation details that are processed outside of their connected accounts, via a form, an API integration to a direct booking website (to be available on our public API), or an iCal import (at a later stage). Smartbnb would then accordingly send the appropriate messages (per Guest experience and Operations), offer a full-feature interface to interact with those guests via email (Inbox) show those direct reservations assigned to a proeprty (Calendar), and include those to reporting tools (Metrics) and third-party tools (Webhooks, API).
Agoda integration
Agoda is one of the leading OTAs in the Asia-Pacific region. Integration Hospitable with Agoda would help Hospitable customers distribute their listings, rates and availabilities to Agoda and improve their guest experience through thoughtful and future-proof messaging automations.
E-signature implementation
Rental Agreements, tax affidavits, and more
August Home smart lock integration
Smart lock hardware provider
Direct Booking Website Builder
Create a direct booking website within a few clicks, exposing listings pictures and descriptions, present guests with a booking flow and process payments online to secure reservations; automate messaging and manage other linked calendars on other channels.
Booking.com Integration
Integrating Booking.com with Smartbnb would allow for the use of Smartbnb's automated messaging, channel management features, and more to be used for Booking.com listings.
Metrics revamp
This will give users a better metrics dashboard with KPIs (key performance indicators) to see the health of their STR business, as well as the ability to filter what information is exported in .csv and the ability to share a filtered view with owners or accountants. It will also include updates to our public API and webhooks to include more financial data.
Integration with Ecobee and Honeywell smart thermostats
Control smart thermostats automatically based on the check-in and check-outs of guests, resulting in energy savings and more seamless last-minute bookings.
