Revenue clarity on metrics dashboard

Ability to show revenue on dashboard separated between base rent, cleaning income, and fee income such as pet fees. With revenue including cleaning income it’s an inflated number that doesn’t always show the health of the business. Currently I have to export and manipulate in excel to see a true revenue number.

With the release of new metrics, there are now multiple different widgets showing different kinds of revenue available. Net Revenue, Net Revenue excluding Cleaning Fees, Gross Revenue and other breakdowns. Check out the widget library, and if you feel like something is still missing, feel free to add it and upvote it here

I use Metrics and income/revenue a lot to gauge profit, goals, booking rates etc. but can we get “cleaning fees” pulled out of this? I look at and think this true revenue and forget Cleaning fees is lumped in this when should be listed under its on category

I also pay my cleaner a different rate than I charge on Airbnb. So it would be nice to be able to input costs into hospitable (like rent, monthly yard care or hot tub maintenance, as well as cleaning fee)

Adding to this feature being able to create custom views or filters so people can see what they consider “total revenue” as I don’t think taxes collected is revenue!

    same as for https://hospitable.featurebase.app/p/gross-revenue-minus-cleaning-fee
Cleaning fee and linen fee are NOT revenue, and often even go to a different person/business so it makes no sense to have them as part of the revenue KPI
