Tennessee compliance Verify
I am requesting the ability to disable the live selfie requirement during guest verification while still allowing the upload of a government ID, to comply with Tennessee state laws. This change would benefit tremendously. Tenn laws allow uploading the front and back of drivers license but not a selfie
with the exception of the live selfie. Tennessee Code § 68-14-604 only authorizes requiring a valid photo ID (like a driver's license)—it does not mention live photos or biometric verification. Because Airbnb only permits off-platform links that stick strictly to what state law mandates, demanding a live selfie exceeds that legal carve-out and will put your listing at risk of being flagged.
