I'm posting this to see if other multi-unit hosts are experiencing the same concern:
The Daily Digest email is good tool, but the ordering in the "Rest of the Week" section makes our workflow less efficient because it isn't always chronological.
When managing our properties, we look for the next action item on a linear timeline. However, the system seems to prioritize Check-ins over Check-outs, even when the Check-out date is earlier.
For example, our digest listed a Friday Check-in (Unit B) before a Wednesday Check-out (Unit A). This requires us to jump around and manually sort the list to get a clear overall sequence of activity. We feel the digest would function best when it is a sequential daily schedule we can review at a glance.
We would like to suggest an update of the logic so all events in the "Rest of the Week" section are ordered by date, regardless of whether they are a Check-in or Check-out regardless of the property.
This change is about usability for us and would make the daily information much faster to process every morning.
