Set Default Bank Account Per Property for Tasks

Problem Statement:

  • When managing multiple properties in Hospitable, there is no way to assign a default bank account for tasks at the property level.
  • Currently, bank accounts must be selected manually per task rule or per individual task, which is time-consuming and error-prone when managing many properties.

Current Workaround:

  • Manually selecting the bank account for each task rule or each individual task every time a task is created or edited.

Impact:

  • Increased operational overhead when managing multiple properties.
  • Risk of selecting the wrong bank account for payouts, leading to payment errors.
  • Lost time on repetitive manual selection across many tasks.

Proposed Solution:

  • Allow hosts to set a default bank account at the property level in Settings.
  • When tasks are created for that property, they automatically use the property's designated bank account for payouts.
  • Retain the ability to override per task rule or per task if needed.

Unlock:

  • Hosts can streamline task payout setup by associating each property with its own bank account.
  • Reduces manual work and minimizes the risk of payout errors across multiple properties.
