Currently, Personal Access Tokens (PAT) expire after one year and must be manually replaced. This causes external infrastructures to suddenly lose access when the token expires.
The user is requesting a feature where tokens can either be manually renewed or where the expiration date can be individually set to ensure the continuous operation of integrations.
