Feature Request: Automated Messages for All Booking Types (Including Owner and Manual Bookings)

Hey Hospitable Team and Community 👋

It would be incredibly helpful if automated messages could send for all booking types including owner stays and manual bookings without needing any extra triggers beyond the booking itself being created whether by the host or the guest.

Our company manages a mix of standard guest stays, owner stays, and what we refer to internally as “VIP stays.” Even though “VIP” isn’t a specific booking type in Hospitable, it’s really important to us that these guests still receive the same level of care and communication as every other booking. This consistency helps reflect the high-quality service we provide as a STR property management company.

Right now owner and manual bookings receive very limited automated messaging which creates extra work for our team. We have a great automated system set up through Hospitable that ensures all of our guests feel fully cared for and have an elevated experience. We believe communication is a major part of that.

I also want to note that I went back and forth through about 10 emails and requested a phone call to better understand how to achieve this setup but was told the team was too small for someone to speak with me. Typically, myself and the rest of our team are out at the properties and not consistently sitting in front of a computer checking emails. Often we don’t even have reliable Wi-Fi when we’re in the higher points of the mountains, so it was very inconvenient to not be able to just have a quick conversation and instead spend days trying to find a resolution through email. A short call would have made it much easier to understand that this feature isn’t currently available, which I think highlights how valuable it could be for future consideration.

I hope this message is read thoroughly and considered. This improvement would make a big difference for property managers like us who are focused on providing an exceptional guest experience across all stay types.
