Enrichable Short Codes for Customizable Guidebooks

Problem Statement:

• Currently, the %guidebook% short code only supports a single static guidebook URL per property
• You cannot use enrichable short codes (like booking code or guest name) to create personalized guidebook URLs for each guest
• Partners like TouchStay already have access to enrichable short code infrastructure, but this isn't available to all hosts

Current Workaround:

• Using a single static guidebook URL for all guests
• Manually creating separate guidebooks for each guest (time-consuming and not scalable)

Impact:

• Cannot provide personalized information (guest name, booking details) in guidebooks
• Limited ability to offer customized guest experiences
• Operational inefficiency when managing multiple properties

Proposed Solution:

• Extend the existing enrichable short code infrastructure (used by partners like TouchStay) to all hosts
• Allow guidebook URLs to include enrichable short codes like %booking_code% or %guest_name% for personalization
