Hosts using third-party cleaning management tools (like Breezeway or Turno) face confusion when the Owner Stay flow in Hospitable includes a cleaning question. These external tools already know whether a stay is an owner stay and handle property-specific cleaning workflows with their own defaults. The cleaning question in Hospitable creates a disconnect — owners assume selecting an answer in Hospitable is sufficient, but the actual cleaning workflow is managed entirely outside of Hospitable with different property-specific rules.

Current Workaround

Hosts must instruct owners to ignore the cleaning question in the Hospitable Owner Stay flow. However, this is confusing for owners and leads to inconsistent adoption — some owners still answer the question expecting it to work.

This would be particularly valuable for hosts using third-party cleaning management tools that handle owner stay workflows independently.
