We have already implemented a 97% refund and a 47% refund structure (instead of the standard 100% and 50%) to account for payment processing costs. To further enhance clarity and transparency, we propose adding a customizable comment field within the direct bookings cancellation policy settings.
This field would allow us to provide additional context in the guest portal, such as: βA 3% cancellation fee is applied to cover payment processing costs.β By including this information directly in the cancellation policy section, we can set clear expectations for guests and ensure consistent communication about refund terms.
