Currently, the scheduled time acts as a restriction on when the teammate can access, start, or complete the task. This can prevent them from updating a task if they arrive early or after the scheduled window.
It would be helpful to separate the task’s scheduled or due time from the period when it can be accessed and completed. Teammates should be able to:
Access and complete a task before its scheduled time.
Access and complete an overdue task after its scheduled time.
Clearly see the expected deadline or “complete by” time.
Keep overdue tasks visible until they are completed.
This would give cleaners and inspectors the flexibility they need while still allowing hosts to communicate a clear deadline.
